The history of this department
In order to meet the needs of social development, improve the professional quality of beauty, and cultivate professionals in beauty and styling. The department was approved to be established in September 1983. In addition to imparting professional skills to students, it also guides students to understand the status quo and development trend of beauty and styling in today's society, and then cultivate students' knowledge of related business operations, so as to develop students' employability. And in September 1989, the Department of Beauty and Styling Design was approved to be established. At present, there are four skills and two skills in the day department, four skills and two skills in the advanced training department, and on-the-job training classes.

Curriculum Features
． The courses are divided into two major modules: Beauty in Body & Facial Care, Make-up Styling and Hairstyling- with the contents and features adjusted based on fashion trends. Courses are taught in great facilities by experienced professionals.
． The courses emphasize practical training which can enhance students’ technical proficiencies toward acquiring professional licenses.

Learning Activities
We hold various lectures to enhance the structural ability of students' works, introduce innovative technologies in the industry, and develop integrated competence in manicure techniques and drawing skills.

Internship Programs
． Professional personnel in styling and cosmetology are in high demand. We cooperate with several chain salons such as Happy Hair, Mentor, and Socie so that students can acquire practical training.
． To strengthen students’ opportunities for employment, we offer free after school industrial training through funding from the Ministry of Education.
Career Opportunities
． To be a fashion designer or manager in hair salons, beauty shops, or fashion companies.
To be a secondary school educator through enhanced education programs.
